Worth noting that Aquino came in to the game in the 8th and Bruney lost the game yesterday to the cubs in the 9th. I wouldn't look too much into it.

Tough one, Bruney didn't pitch an outrageous amount of pitches yesterday, but he did pitch on the 27th.

They might just be resting Bruney, but based on his mixed results, I might take the risk of picking up Aquino right now.

Eventually Valverde, Aquino, or Lyon is gonna have the job... or it will be closer by committee... But Melvin was dedicated to Aquino in spring training before he got hurt so I wouldnt be suprised if he starts going to him late in games.

aquino is bad i dont know why youd have any arizona closer in the first place. Plus he pitched two innings, if Aquino were to be closer, why not wait until the 9th to put him in?

Careful jumping to conclusions here ... Bruney does not seem to be overworked this week, so there could be some pen adjustments.
But Valverde has been the most lights-out guy in that pen. He pitched the previous three days in a row for a total of four innings, hence was unavailable.
Might be worth noting Val racked up 9 K and 0 ER in those four innings, suggesting he's putting a year and a half of injuries behind him. I'll let others grab Aquino.
