Exactly, but I don't think this was a trade that pulled him out of tonight's lineup. I just think he just has too much "emotional stress" playing for his championship team. ;-7

Ramirez ran onto the field with his teammates to celebrate after the game ended as the crowd chanted ``Manny! Manny!'' He was booed during Friday night's game.

wasn't expecting him to be still at the park...

Just did some lurking on the SoSH forum and it looks like that Manny will not be in tomorrow's lineup as well.

So this is probably why I'm winning my pts H2H matchup this week! :-]

My team is playing like crap, but winning since Manny isn't getting any pts - muhahaha! :-D

Is there any particular speculation as to why? Besides the obvious, of a trade, would there be any other reason for this to occur?

...this is the exact reason why the redsox MUST relieve themselves of this $64m child even if they get less in return...the last "offer" which included lastings milledge should be accepted and use the $$ savings in the free agent market next winter

I'm so tired of this attitude. Honestly.

WEEI, The Globe, etc. all whip up this frenzy about Manny. They do it every year, they did it with Pedro. Look, the guy is a hall of famer, that is a little nutty. Fans should realize this, accept it, and take the 40 homeruns and 150 rbis.

I'm so mad at reactionary fans.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

Hey, if you're going to make a start, why not do it against the Twins? I hope he's lights-out.

Lester and him will look great next year.
