Exactly, but I don't think this was a trade that pulled him out of tonight's lineup. I just think he just has too much "emotional stress" playing for his championship team. ;-7

Franconc just said that it was his idea, that he wants Manny to clear his head ansd stuff.....with all that is going on.

Side note Sox are bringing up Papelbon to start tomorrow!!!

Ramirez ran onto the field with his teammates to celebrate after the game ended as the crowd chanted ``Manny! Manny!'' He was booed during Friday night's game.

wasn't expecting him to be still at the park...

Just did some lurking on the SoSH forum and it looks like that Manny will not be in tomorrow's lineup as well.

Is there any particular speculation as to why? Besides the obvious, of a trade, would there be any other reason for this to occur?

WEEI, The Globe, etc. all whip up this frenzy about Manny. They do it every year, they did it with Pedro. Look, the guy is a hall of famer, that is a little nutty. Fans should realize this, accept it, and take the 40 homeruns and 150 rbis.

I'm so mad at reactionary fans.
