I got an old (about 15-20 years old) softball bat from my dad that I'm going to use in a league this fall. However, due to it's age and a good deal of use, it lacks luster. Is there something I can use to restore a bit of shine to it?

I know it doesn't NEED shine, but the thing looks like it's been to hell and back. I was just trying to make it look like I hadn't found it at an archaeological dig or something.
