Old Aluminum Bat

Postby KoopaTroopa211 » Sat Jul 30, 2005 12:48 am

I got an old (about 15-20 years old) softball bat from my dad that I'm going to use in a league this fall. However, due to it's age and a good deal of use, it lacks luster. Is there something I can use to restore a bit of shine to it?

In reality, do you really need to add shine?? Just use it and surprise them when you crank a shot with an old bat. :-?

I know it doesn't NEED shine, but the thing looks like it's been to hell and back. I was just trying to make it look like I hadn't found it at an archaeological dig or something.

Mizuno bats suck. If you are going to drop $200 on a bat go with DeMarini. ;-D

As a pitcher, I disagree. I have heard many a ball go over my head with that bat. :-°

You got a name for a comparable DeMarini??
