chan ho park traded

Postby bdrotoronto » Fri Jul 29, 2005 7:20 pm

The Blue Jays announce crew noted that Park was held out of his scheduled start tonight not because of injury, but because of a 'pending transaction' (i.e. trade), likely to announced more fully tonight.

This move of course has almost no fantasy impact at all, Park stinks, I'm just surprised there's some MLB team out there actually willing to take a shot on this guy. :-b O:-)

maybe he'll go back to the Dodgers. The only place where he was any good at all.

I don't think anyone wants Park this is most likely some team swallowing that contract in order to pull off a trade.

I just saw this on Sportsline:

Hmm, looks like the Padres were really, really focused on getting rid of Nevin for a mediocre-quality pitcher.. :-?

I'd really like to know what the Padres are doing, if in fact that's true. Do they think that's going to help them at all? :-P

I'm guessing it involves Soriano.

If it meant getting Soriano for free I'd do it in a heartbeat and then stick Park on the permanent DL. He could sit on the St. Lucie bench next to Heredia and Kaz. B-)
