we'll see in september

batters hit .301 off of him for the month of June and he has a 7.14 ERA in July, he hasn't just had a 'couple bad starts'. In fact he has had 5 good starts since May 11th and 5 bad starts with 4 mediocre starts. He's been very average for a pitcher in a 12 team league since mid May.

Since May 11th, I'm counting 11 quality starts and 4 bad starts. And 3 of his 4 bad starts, have been in July. Willis will be fine. He hit a bump in the road and it happens.
That said, I wouldn't be thrilled at starting him against STL. However, Rolen, Walker, and Sanders will all be out of the lineup. So it might not be as bad as you would normally think.

Well, I'm in 1st in my league. And it's an extra competitve league all made up of attorneys -- who hate losing more than anything. Moreover, if you discount those 4 starts, his numbers are still low. That said, it's a h2h league, not roto. So I'm more concerned about the number of quality starts vs bad ones. And 11/4 is very good. But in roto, I can see where you'd have more complaints.
