Dontrelle Willis looked like his first half self last night. Granted, it was against the Pirates, who are terrible, but he was dominant.
I read some info that Armando Benitez told Dontrelle to keep his arm angle higher and that is what fixed his problems....Anybody believe this? Or is it just the Pirates? What kind of performance are you guys expecting this second half? I know all about his 8-11 record and 4.30 era career second half numbers...but should we believe them this year?
Could I have asked more questions in a single post?

It's hard for me to believe that he'll have a strong second half because he, along with the rest of Florida SPs, are way overused. And with his Jerky delivery, his arm just can't take it anymore.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
Willis is living off his 1st 7 starts, where his era was 1.07. Since then it's over 4. A week ago, i was thinking of dropping him. But i was able to get Cano for him in my keeper league. I see a 3.50 era at best the rest of way, and possibly over 4. I had my fill of him.

I'm doubtful, he hasn't in the past.

So many Willis doubters. I'm tired of arguing about it. But the second half implosion argument is all overblown. The guy had a few bad games in a row -- it happens. However, I think his ERA will be in the 3's the rest of the way, he will get 20 Ws, and be solid...
