there is a sign as you are driving on 94 from chicago to milwaukee that reads "bong rec area". dont have any pictures of it though. its named after maj. richard bong, a WWII ace. so i guess when he was flying he was known as major bong.

The beard from those red rocks pictures gave it away for me.

I friend of mine in college was from Boulder, had a beard like that, and was one of the craziest bastards I have ever met.


If I saw that sign at my college I would spend all my days trying to convince a gullible friend to break in and get the goods (just like in Half Baked).
