Yankees acquired RHP Shawn Chacon from the Rockies for RHP Ramon Ramirez and RHP Eduardo Sierra.
Chacon's 39/36 K/BB ratio in 72 2/3 IP is discouraging, but he doesn't give up a lot of hits or home runs. He'll probably be a decent fifth starter for the Yankees, though the below average WHIP and poor strikeout rate will definitely limit his fantasy upside. Considering that GM Brian Cashman didn't give up anything the organization would miss, this is a good pickup.
