Ruben Sierra, on the 15-day DL with a strained left hamstring, will rejoin the Yankees tomorrow, but he's still some time away from being activated.
''Evidently, he's not ready to play games yet,'' manager Joe Torre said. ''He will meet us in New York and we'll see where he is. Hopefully by mid-week or the end of the week we can get him some at-bats. It's not progress. He can swing the bat, but he still needs to run the bases.''
