Some of us may be looking for a replacement catcher. In my particualr league, Javier Valentin and Lieberthal are already gone as it is a 14 teamer. Any suggestions for those of us in need?

I faced the same situation as you. :,-(

The people in the Trade/Keepers/Waivers forum urged my to pick up Bengie Molina (which I did). Other catchers I know of are Michael Barrett, Mike Matheny, Jason Phillips, Matt LeCroy and...Jason Phillips :-o

I am in a 14-teamer as well and all those catchers are avaiable (not Molina though lol }:-)

I'll look into the others although I know Barrett is gone.

The only ones of those available in my 16-teamer were LeCroy and Phillips. I grabbed LeCroy and he sat both of the last two days. So I switched to Phillips. At least he plays every day and hits near the middle of the order. Still ... :-/

is barrett that bad?

i would think he's in a class of his own above all th ose mentioned so far.

he's almost as good as pierzynski and piazza no? especially now that he's hitting in the 6th hole (for the past 2 games) instead of the 8th in front of the pitcher like he has for the most of the season.

Hey, if Nevin gets in there almost every day, you could use him?!?!

I got Lo Duca in a few leagues to sub for Ramon. I don't know whether that's good or not, but he does hit for a decent average. :-o
