Josh Fogg, anyone have any thoughts? Is he worth picking up? Is he better then Duckworth?

While Fogg has had a great start, I seriously doubt he'll keep it up. Wait for CWebb and Arlo's response, but I'd say Duckworth is better any day, and Fogg, while maybe worth the risk, probably is better left as a Free Agent. There are lots of quality safer starters out there that you could probably get, and Fogg could seriously hurt your numbers, as his potential for a bad outing is always there.

Duck

I really think Fogg is gonna be a solid pitcher (that's why I picked him up), but Brandon Duckworth is good, too, and he's the safer bet for your team, Fogg might have some rough outings!

Josh Fogg won't put up impressive strikeout numbers, so I'd stay with Duckworth.

I think Fogg has a lot of potential - I've been following him for a while now, and think he's been overlooked as a prospect in the past. He'd be a great pickup, but dropping Duckworth is another story. Dark Treb and cwebb are right - Fogg will go through some rough patches - and Duckworth is by far the safer option. I'm more optimistic than cwebb about Fogg's strikeout numbers, though.

If you can drop a lesser player, grabbing Fogg is a good idea, but Duckworth is too high a price to pay. Besides, if Duckworth is the pitcher you'd consider dropping, your rotation probably doesn't need much help anyway.
