It says ESPN radio but I'm just hearing crappy music.
Sounds like good ol' porn music. Yeah it switched over to the music for me too and said we'll resume broadcasting ESPN radio online momentarily.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
NY media still hasn't picked up on this so it makes me doubt that it's done. We'll see.

The same radio station supposedly reported Dunn to OAK for Cruz and other prospects almost done??? This show on now is all football, listening to ESPN Radio NY now to see if they say anything. I'm obviously not getting any work done this week.

Yeah, I agree. Until it blows up here, I wouldn't trust it. It's pretty clear that something is going to happen though. Exciting day for the Mets... .
I never really worry about these prospects. So many prospects miss, and a lot of them hit unexpectedly.
Look at our deal a few years ago trading Jason Bay for Steve Reed. Steve who? Yeah, that's right, the crummy reliever. So...moral of my story is...Soriano and Huff are proven peformers on the ML level. If you can get them for prospects, then it's worth the chance. Petit, Milledge and the like are not sure things.
I'll love the Mets if we can get Milledge off of them, too. However, I doubt they'll do it and I doubt we really want Milledge. We want arms at this point. If we could somehow get John Danks in a deal, Tampa would bite.
Milledge projects as a 20/30 player. His plate discipline has taken giant steps and I think he's going to well exceed the Corey Patterson label some have put on him. I think he'll bring the same excitement to the table, but will provide a good average and OBP. Soriano is widely overrated by the casual fans due to high scoreboard numbers. His real contributions to a team are not that substantial.
As a guy with $400+ in Lastings Milledge baseball cards waiting for them to explode like David Wright's, I'd be pissed if he left the big NY market.
