So, is he going to keep it up all year?
I'm close to trading for him, but I don't want a big decline if I do.
How much more is his trade value worth than his actual worth?

Yeah.. this "fantasy guru" thing is just a user name, folks.

i have him, and i'm going to ride him out all year. even if he does get worse, it's not like he'll implode for a 4.00 ERA rest of the way. i'm thinking at the worst you can expect a 3.50 ERA from him, most likely better.
i mean c'mon. if the majority of the season's over and you still need more proof that he's legit, you're not going to get it. he's either going to suck or not, but whatever the case may be, you're not going to be able to predict it now before it happens.
if you need a starter and like what garland has produced so far, i'd trade for him. as for his perceived value to his actual, i'd say it's probably pretty close. i think most garland owners aren't demanding too much for garland as they themselves aren't sure if he'll keep this up and because of his low K rate.

I dont buy the hes soon to bust case or sell-high all-american. I think he will be solid for the rest of the season.
