Does anyone have any reports on Pavano's rehab this evening?

Carl Pavano (shoulder) allowed two runs -- one earned -- and two hits in five innings for the Rookie GCL Yankees today.
Pavano was throwing 91 mph consistently and 43 of his 54 pitches were strikes. It's uncertain what's next for him. He may make a start at a higher level before rejoining the Yankees.

I like. Nice.

I read 57 pitches, but its all the same really.
His numbers were great, but the Yankees are waiting (as of this morning's paper) to hear how he looked. Its very possible that he'll get another rehab start.

Iy has come down to hoping Pavano is the savoir so we do not have to see Nomo, Brown, Wright, Redding, Henn, Larry, Mo, Curly or Shemp any more. Nice job Cashman.
One has to wonder if the Yanks had the ability to get Cy Young himself for 8M and the Mets offered him 9 M whether Cashman would decide to go sign Eric Milton instead.
