Their regular SS hits at DH while DeRose (who also apparently plays 2B) plays 2B. Could they be planning to move Young or DeRosa to 2B if/when Soriano is traded?

Granted, Sori could be traded at any time, so it doesn't hurt for the bench guys to get some time on the field.

Buck has just been rotating his stars for some rest. He did it with Teixiera and Blalock the other day too. It's a good thing to get some reat in the Summer heat in Texas.
I think this has something to do with Soriano being traded. Cameron sat last night and apparently so did a couple Mets Minor Leaguers. It's very suspicious.

no, actually, I think you are reading too much into this. Young was just getting a day of rest and rather than take him out of the lineup, like a lot of managers do, Buck just rotates his stars into the DH spot.
That's all folks. Soriano still may be getting traded but it's unlrelated to Mike getting some rest at DH.
