I'm gonna say Taveras right now as he has been a huge part of Houston's offense for the entire season. Duke could easily take this award if he continues to pitch like he is right now..

I was seriously considering adding him into the list, but then I checked out his stats, and they really weren't amazing, though I know he only started during mid-season.

If he can raise his BA, Weeks definatly has a very strong chance. Wow the Brewers are going to be good in a year or two...

didn't weeks play a couple games in 2003? he isn't a complete rookie then..how is he a rookie again?

As long as he didnt have more than 130 AB or more than 45 days on a MLB roster.
