I picked him up after I think 2 of his starts and have been very happy ever since. I've been very surprised about the lack of discussion about him here on these boards besides a comment here or there. I still haven't seen him pitch a full outing, just some highlights, but Gammons and others have always talked him up and he seems to be delivering. We could be watching the first few starts of a future big big time pitcher here. I hope he does well and Pittsburgh is actually able to enjoy his success with him down the road (for a change).

The only plus pitch Duke has is his curveball. This is the reason why no one is super excited about the kid. He projects to be a #2 starter if all goes well. Good command and control.
When he misses, he will get hit hard.

Agree with Yoda. Duke does not have a great arsenal and is not a hard thrower. His margin for error is small. IMO, it's only a matter of time before hitters adjust to his curveball and smack the hell out of him.

For "pitch and ditch" he has been good for 2 starts. For H2H P@D is the schniiz nit.
