eh even if nomo comes to the yankees we can expect max one start out of him. sounds like pavano could have been back on saturday but yanks wanted to give him a rehab start. wright sounds like he's close also and wang's doctors say that it looks hopeful that he wont have to haev surgery and can be back in mid-august.
rotation in a week: johnson, leiter, mussina, small, pavano

Yeah he is real great sporting that 4.4 ERA and 9 whole Ws....whatever dude...You like him in a 12 team league knock yourself out. The number 47 ranked pitcher overall. Tremendeous pick indeed.
I've never heard of a 12-team league that carries only 4 pitchers. Seems like a good guy to have on your team to me.

You just posted numbers that had him as the #26 pitcher...

26 of starters, 47 of all pitchers.
26th starter in a 12-team league is a top #3 starter, and I don't know many teams that have less than four or five starters. He seems like a good asset to any team.
They have no other options. We'll just have to see what happens.
You're right. They don't have many options. It'll be interesting to see what the Yanks do. Seems like Wang is out longterm, and Pavano just got pushed back again. And now with Brown hurt, again, and likely longterm, then that leaves just Mussina, RJ, and Aaron Small. Do they trade anyone for someone like Redman and Chacon? Or do they hope they get their health back?

What is up with Wright, by the way?
From my understanding, they pushed back Pavano's rehab start to today, and the pre-game show said he had good numbers though I haven't seen them personally. He's supposed to be back next week.
Nobody knows with Wang, and it sounds like Brown's career is over. Wright began throwing a little while ago and is supposed to have some rehab starts coming up, if they haven't already started, I'm not sure. My best guess is that he'll be back mid-August.
I hope they trade for a guy like Redman, but I'm not sure what Pittsburgh could be asking for. Chacon is trash and I wouldn't let him pitch for free. I hope to God they don't trade for him, but you never know with this FO.
