What do you think about this matchup? As a sox fan, I think I'm gonna have to start him, even though this may turn into a slugfest.

2 other interesting matchups - - Odalis Perez has been struggling, but he pitches against Cleveland....worth a start?

And should I give Freddy Garcia a few more starts before I throw him in my lineup? He pitches against ATL on Friday.

I would probably bench Lowe vs Houston, because that's a scary matchup. However, he has been lights out at home so maybe he will do OK. It's kind of 50/50. Keep in mind that he left last start with a blister problem and that can really kill his effectiveness.

Definitely start Perez. The Indians offense is dreadful, and Perez has really only had two rough starts this year, and one of those was at Coors. I think Garcia may have turned it around, but the Braves are not a team you want to start him against right away because they can really clobber him. 5 homers off Ted Lilly tonight.

vazquez is going up against hudson, not a great matchup, but should I go with the rule of always starting your studs? K's are big in my league, so I think i might start him, but i really have to start monitoring my guys or my innings will get out of hand.....

I would say start Lowe against the stros, his last few outings have been great and they were all on the road. He has been pitching even better at home. Play him if ya got him.
