He is going to be Catching tonight and looks to become their main Catcher with Hernandez having season ending surgery.

Where did you hear this from? Is there any kind of source or anything? I haven't been able to find anything else about this, so I was just wondering where you heard this from?

that article says 'emergency' catcher -- wouldn't fick get the starts behind the plate and phil be used just in a pinch?

Me neither, I've found a handful of stories but they all have him listed as "emergency catcher." Good tip though, we still might see Nevin get some playing time, and he might still qualify at C, boosting his value.

LOL ...

I just got finished reading that article before I saw this post, and I in no way took it as saying that Phil is catching tonight. They would start Fick there before Phil, who hasn't caught an MLB game at Catcher in years. :-o

The Post Title is very Misleading ...

Also I have yet to see anything that says Ramon Hernandez is shutting it down ...
