Anybody have links to studies, research etc or just rule of thumb for converting minor league stats into mlb projections?
I know age, league, level , potential, etc ... make for huge variances. But I looking for some kind of converter tool to better understand the implications of minor league stats.

I believe that most of these statistical models are highly protected by those who have come up with them. Bill James has one, baseball prospectus, Shandler all have made one, but good luck getting the actual conversion method.
Baseball Prospectus used to have their conversions (not the formula) available for free, but now it says temporarily unavailable. Not sure if it will ever be available again for free.
Just off the top of my head, it is somewhere around 83% for batters. I have no idea for pitchers. So personally when ever I look at minor league numbers, I just muliply it by 83% and go with that. I know its not exact and the different minor leagues and minor league parks make a huge diference, but it gets me in the general area and that is sufficent for our purposes here.

I know the baseball prospectus has EQBA, EQSL, EQOB. All those being the equivalent batting average, slugging, and on base percentage in relation to the major leagues with all things being equal. This means that even major leaguers get EQ's as well to even everyone out on one fair playing field. This takes into lineups, parks, etc into effect to have everyone on an even playing field.
