On the floor, in a chair, on the sofa, in a car, in bed, etc, etc, etc, without any real issues.
Glaus is either a really big wimp or he really lacks an imagination if that's the best he can come up with.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I don't understand the attitude that he's a "wimp" because he won't play. If he's injured, chances are he won't be able to play 100% - especially with back problems. The torque you put on your body when you swing would likely cause excruciating pain, as anyone with back problems could attest to. Now, if this turns him into a .200 hitter, then what's the point of playing? You might as well let your backup have a shot. Not only that, but believe it or not they are in a pennant race. It's smarter to rest him now, so that he gets healthy and can play at full speed come August and September.
I'm so sick of always hearing how baseballers are wimps because they sit out with various injuries. Sure, sometimes it's warranted, but most of the time it's just a matter of making sure the best possible team plays both now and later on. I'd like to see some of these people who criticise from the sidelines play 162 games in 6 months and see how they go.

He's a wimp because he got hurt sleeping on a lumpy mattress (Read: Something that should not have hurt him since he's paid to be in shape.).
