Please help out my team

OK, I'm moving up in the standings but have a few questions I need answers for. League is 5X5 H2H with 20 Roster spots and 2 DL's.

I've been debating dumping Thome, but I am not sure what else to do. I took some advice from here and traded T Glaus and C Rietsma for A Ramirez and then the guy dropped Rietsma so I picked him back up, this was when Glaus was rated higher than Ramirez so this turned out very nicely, as did the early season trade of Joe Borowski and Kenny Rogers for Andruw Jones, yow...

this team looks good. especially on offense. Maybe look into getting a better starting pitcher. Maybe package Cantu or Wells with one of your pitchers to get a good starter?

Cantu, Duke, Douglass, Farnsworth, Rietsma, Myers, Shelton were all FA pick ups. I traded Moyer for Reyes in the first month or so, then Joe Borowski and Kenny Rogers for Andruw Jones at the bottom of his slump, Lidge for Thome before Berkman got 1b status and shelton which is my only downer trade (i should of traded Gagne instead) and finally Glaus and Rietsma for Aramis before his hot streak. Just so you know.

What about dumping Thome, is that not a good idea?

Oh and somebody dumped Pierre and Wells earlier on. The rest were drafts.

you have a good team and for now i would say i would sit on your pitching and hope ollie and halladay come back strong for you. You also should sit on thome unless you can find someone to trade him to and i would look to upgrade your first base since i'm not sold on shelton for the rest of the year at a deep position like first

no more douglass and farnsworth, now have rodney and blanton. it is regular 5X5 scoring btw.

I made a trade offer of podsednik and cantu for Clemens, does anyone else feel there might be something wrong with podsednik? i have pierre and reyes so i feel safe in steals, and need one more good pitcher. There are still some heads left batting like sweeney and howard, etc. but there are no good sp's left that can be counted on.

Thoughts?

I think you gotta get wells in there and look to dish pierre instead of podsednik.
