Kudos to TV land for bringing back the best sitcom of the 70's. Loved that show. It is on everynight at 10pm est.

They had a 48 hour marathon all weekend...do I need to get a life or what.

DYNOMITE! ;-D

Good Times was a decent 70s sitcom. Don't forget... that show launched the career of a certain little girl named Janet (Miss Jackson if you're nasty). ;-D

Were this thread to evolve into a discussion of the best 70s sitcoms, I'd vote for (off the top of my head) The Mary Tyler Moore Show and WKRP in Cincinnati.

Good Times was a great show, but I'm more of a Maude man myself. Maude would get my vote for top 70's sitcom theme song, that's for sure.

Lady Godiva was a freedom rider
She didnt' care if the whole world looked.
Joan of Arc with the Lord to guide her
She was a sister who really cooked.

Isadora was the first bra burner
And you're glad she showed up. (Oh yeah)
And when the country was falling apart
Betsy Ross got it all sewed up.

And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's

That uncompromisin', enterprisin', anything but tranquilizing,
Right on Maude.

I know this isn't from the 70's but Leave it to Beaver was the best older show out there. Eddie Hascal was freaking hilarious :-b

Ted Knight, as Ted Baxter was fantastic on the MTM Show, but the whole show was great. Excellent writing, great play between characters. Really an underrated 70s sitcom. ;-D
