Harder to win Triple Crown- AL or NL?

Postby cannonarm21 » Tue Jul 26, 2005 10:39 am

I think in the past it would be the NL, having to deal with Pujols and Bonds. But now I believe it would be harder to achieve in the AL. Going against Manny and Ortiz with their RBI potential. Ichiro (in a normal year) and his average...and of course Arod.

I was going to post that I thought it didn't matter when I thought you were just talking about league rules.

If you're talking about the people you have to go up against that are CURRENTLY in the league though then I would say the AL is harder simply because of the Red Sox and Yankees putting up SO many runs and skewing the RBI race most years. I almost think you'd have to be ON the Sox or Yankees to win the triple crown in the AL right now.
