Teixeira??

Postby bolts801 » Wed Jun 11, 2003 10:14 pm

I'm sure he's availabe in most leagues. He is in my two I know.

Question is. I have some room on my bench. My sitters are usually Tejada, and Meuller, and Geoff Jenkins.

I was wondering if you'd think it would be wise to dump Meuller who is avg'ng 350 about now, and he is full time now that hillenbrand is gone.

I hate to give up that kind of a solid hitter to take a chance on a rookie, but mueller sits on my bench most time anyhow.

Should I dump mueller, and sit back with Teixeira on the bench and see if he heats up as hot as Baldelli? :)

Then if he turns red hot.. I gottem ... I gottem.... kew kew kew kew :) IDJUT! (p.s. that was my cheesy Rosco P Coltrain immitation) ;-)

Just a crazy thought, and kind of wanted some feedback.

Tiex is pretty hot as of late...

I know this has little bearing being only college ball, but I went to GT with Mark, and I used to watch him hit balls into outer space there. He looked like he was playing with little leaguers most of the time. I drafted him in my league, and have watched him sit on the pine for most of the season until the last few weeks. His says that he's just now seeing the ball like he did the last few years in college and the minors. Sounds to me like he's made the adjustment, and t hey are getting him the at bats that he needs to contribute. Pick him up.

I would definitely get him, he is already gone in the three leagues I am in. But I don't know if I would drop Mueller for him, I may drop Jenkins instead. But that is only my opinion.
