Looks like this K machine gets a start vs. SF Monday night. He'll also get a start for me in two leagues where taking a one night shot can't hurt me much and might steal me a W and a handful of K's.
I'm generally anti-rookie as far as pitchers are concerned as they are generally too volatile to do anything but spot here and there...but this looks like it might be one of those spots. The Giants aren't exactly crushing the ball, and it's under the Wrigley lights. As always, checking the winds in Chitown is mandatory before getting involved, but if there's no big breeze heading out, I think Hill could be a nice one night grab.
I would take a wait-and-see approach with Hill. He has great stuff, but his command is a real problem. He walked a ton in the minors, and left a ton of pitches up tonight against the Giants. Had he been facing a team with some real big-league hitters (such as Feliz who bombed him) he would have been roughed up badly.
