I haven't...I was worried when I checked the box score and saw he was replaced... :-o Hopefully it's nothing serious... I just saw that he fouled a ball off of his shin and went out for precautionary x-rays... :-t

I saw the incident and it looked like he was hurt. He finished the A/B then went to the hospital for precautionary x-rays. The X-rays came back negative, so he is listed as day-to-day.

Hopefully that brings a sigh of relief to all Jays fans and Vernon owners. ;-D :-°

The way Boston and New York are playing right now, I think the Jays have a better shot at the AL East than the Wildcard.

It's not the Wells injury which should worry Jays fans though, it's the fact that Ted Lilly their #2 starter could be out for an extended period of time. I'm not even sure who would replace him.. (Gaudin :-P )..

Wells Trade

Postby shaabyi » Mon Jul 25, 2005 10:41 am

I just traded Wells for Francisco Rodriquez. I already had Crawford, Abreau and Matsui so hi was my backup. I think I got the better end of the deal even if Wells stays healty
