Delmon or Felix?

Unfortunately my dynasty league doesn't have a minor league draft. However, this year I have the #1 waiver. Will both or either of these guys be up this year? If both, then I'm having a difficult time trying to decide on which one would be better to use the #1 waiver on. Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated.
Living here in Montgomery, I watched DY a lot this year. He was leading the Southern League in all triple crown categories before his call-up.

Any thoughts?

Depends on what you need. Young is closer to the show, and Hernandez may not even be called up this year. I'd probably grab Young if it was me.

Wow, with that roster, does it matter???

I would probably go with Young. I don't know if theres stats to back it up or not, but i feel a little bit safer with young hitters than young pitchers.

I'd go for Young, when in doubt I go with the hitter. There are also questions on whether Felix will be called up this year due to his recent injury.

Couldn't have said it better myself. With pitchers there is always more injury risk.

earlier today rotoworld reported that rays GM Chuck LaMar said delmon may not be up at all this season...i would use that waiver priority on felix anyway, though.

i would prefer delmon over felix,,, but since felix is being called up this week,,,,,,, i would go ahead and put the waiver claim in for him now..... delmon is still up in the air on whether he will be called up or not,,,, get the surer thing in felix-----meaning being on yahoos system this year........

Delmon. Hitting prospects are much less risky than pitching prospects.
