Where do you think it's at? I'd say he's looking better.....Today through 7 vs Baltimore his line is as follows....1 ER, 3BB, and 7 K. His previous start vs. Boston he went six innings with 0ER, and 7 K, however walked 6. Do you think he's starting to pull things together, giving his recent success vs. Boston and Baltimore (not to shabby offensive teams.?) I think his time may be here.

your little throw in is going to keep the hamster full
i would give kazmir atleast one more start before i added him but he is going to eventually be an ace. there is no doubt in my mind about that. if he continues to produce i would say drop lieber, loaiza then haren in that order.
Thanks for the warning about the hamster...kinda new around here...not sure what is allowed and what is not...alot of different forums. I've edited my post in hopes that it's not hamsterized, and am still looking for more insight into Kazmir's future.
Can I now add him with confidence to my team? A ND vs. texas but only 2 walks. His last 4 starts have been vs. potent lineups, and he has succeeded, this would be great if this kid was finally rounding the corner.
Wish I could tell you he's turned the corner for sure; I've picked him up, but I doubt you'll get anyone to say with certainty he won't walk another six guys next time around... On the other hand, his Ks give you at least something to be happy with every time, even if his WHIP is 1.75. We'll see....
He's neck-and-neck with Ervin Santana in the consistency race.
Both will give you occasional brilliance marred by occasional heartburn this season. Good keepers, though.

He's actually been pretty consistent lately. He was a click away from FA for me, but he's pitching well now. Its been a while since he blew up. The Rays are also starting to hit. I sat him @TEX but he did fine for that park.
Now that we're down to the final months of the season, I trust splits and matchups when selecting pitchers for my stretch run. Kazmir looks like he'll be facing plenty of AL East hitting and when digging into his stats vs. the AL East this year, I found this:
