I've been looking for a full list of pitchers who have had Tommy John or been cut on by Dr. Andrews and haven't found much other than some well known names. Anyone got a big list including guys who have since retired or are still playing?

So far I've found...(And I'm sure I know a bunch more that I forgot to mention)

Gagne
Smoltz
Burnett
Morris
Wood
Dotel

I started researching it after I was trying to figure out what's wrong with my own arm. I hurt it a couple months ago playing softball throwing out my arm while "Vladding someone" going from 1st to 3rd from RF on a single. I swear I need Tommy John... :-t

I beleive that Erubiel Durazo is the first position player to have it. I may be wrong on that. Rocco Baldelli is also contemplating it I believe.

I dunno about Durazo, but I know that Luis Gonzalez got it last year

Jays top pitching prospect Dustin McGowan had it and is coming along nicely.

I think that the first non-pitcher to get it was Canseco.
