On the plus side, Pedro won't be starting against Houston. But, if you're looking at picking up Houston runners just for SB's against Piazza, be careful, as NYM manager Willie Randolph has stated many times that Piazza won't be playing as much in the second half, trying to keep him fresh down the stretch. As it is, Piazza never catches a day game after a night game, so he won't play that Sunday. Those four games are also the tail end of a stretch in which the Mets play 13 days straight, the last 7 on the road, then a day off and 6 at home. Since it's financially better to give stars a rest on the road, I wouldn't be surprised if Randolph rests Piazza one of those other games @ Houston, so he can play the following homestand. I know that may be overanalysis, but I doubt Piazza plays more than two of those four @ Houston...
