hardly... I wouldn't call him a patient hitter by any means but 26 walks in 263 AB isn't as awful as you make it out to be. Among first basemen, Sean Casey has about the same number of walks in almost 100 more AB. Certainly better than a guy like Neifi Perez (9 walks in 351 AB.)
