this is crazy, do you think it was jsut heat of the moment. or could he just sit out the rest of the season??? I dont understand this is like the closest hes ever come to making the playoffs in a long time or in a while at least.

i bet it's something regarding management that's been brewing for a while combined with the frustration of hitting 4 batters and losing the game...he probably slept on it, and calmed down

I caught it on ESPN. He said he's 99.9% sure that he wouldn't pitch next year, and would get surgery even though he knows he doesn't need it. I believe he will be pitching for the rest of the year though.

What a nut this guy is. !+)

I'm beginning to think all starting pitchers are really sensitive 8 year old girls deep inside. But good to know he's going to keep pitching. I would be hit hard in my NL league if he just picked up and left.
