An eyelash out of first, please help me improve....

I'm playing at ESPN in a 12-team, 5x5 keeper league (we keep five at the end of the season). I am currently in second place, just an eyelash out of first.

And here is my roster. Is there anything obvious that I can do to improve my team in light of the league standings? I really want to finish strong since it appears that I have a shot at the ring this year.

I would trade away some of your steals and try to obtain a little better OF'r then Figgins/or Ibanez. Looks like you can gain some ground in Wins so maybe make a deal for another SP. You just need a week's worth of good hitting to gain a point in AVG. Strong team overall, you definetely can take 1st place over at anytime.

I agree you should trade Figgins to someone who needs steals, but you should definetely trade him for a SP.

I would highly recommend getting rid of the excess offensive players for a quality SP or two. Keep zero or maybe one bench player, and improve your SPs. I would keep Figgins if you do this, b/c of his versatility. Then if someone gets hurt down the stretch, you can plug him in wherever he's needed most.
