can July 31st come any slower?!

with talks of burnett this, randy winn that, and maybe schmidt to move around...i'm getting kind of anxious and excited at the possibility that my players (or even any player!) could move.

though, i only have schmidt on my team...i want to see him move...i hear baltimore wants in on him...i read somewhere in the forums that he might go to the yanks? whatever's clever - someone jump on him!

july 31st come now! anyone else as impatient as i am?

If I were you I'd be rooting real hard for him to stay in the NL. He's going to seriously miss that blackhole at the bottom of the order in an AL uniform.

Hey, AL teams have black holes at the bottom of the order...isn't that what Womack was most of the year? ;)

The trade hype still hasn't come close to hitting the Beltran sweepstakes craze of last year. Three or four "Burnett to Team X" posts is a drop in the bucket compared to Beltran's buildup.

Not mention the Nomar thing.

Yup, this year's trade talk is pretty tame in comparison. I'm hoping that Griffey rumors pick up some steam just for interest's sake.
