C'mon now. Don't waste that argument on a stupid video game. Let's start with the legal drinking age, then work our way down.

:-)

I don't see what's the big deal with the coffee shop mod.

First: it need a patch for PC and it get even more complicated with PS2

Second: The guy don't even have his pant off for god's sake.

Third: Everyone who wants to can get porn easily on the internet now a days anyway(I'd say it's easier to get a porn video on the internet than put in that code for PS2)

Last: Ever heard of Sim 2 nudity patch?

Bingo. Also, what is this countries like obsession against sex (and I use it in the least of terms, the guy doesnt even take his pants off). Meanwhile, you kill cops and hookers in the game, but god forbid, they do something that happens in nature!

:-?

You only have to be 18 to buy actual porn, so I think the guy at Game Stop was pulling your leg.

Yeah, that doesn't sound correct at all. Though, being 21, I don't particularly care. :-]

I thought the same thing as well, but they insisted that you had to be 21 to buy it so, I dunno. :-?

Must just be Game Stop's Policy. :-?

I agree with the others that it seems like a lot of work to see what's on the disk and a whole lot easier to just download porn off the internet. Not that I would know about such things though....... O:-)

Just be sure you weigh very carefully what is being hyped to you and why.

A couple of good reads here and here.

The first (which I haven't finished reading yet but is encouraging me to finish as soon as I get away from work) blows away the smokescreen using the government's own documents (gasp!). The second, though I don't agree on all points does make one obvious point:

I'd like to draw your attention to another game whose nonstop violence and hostility has captured the attention of millions of kids — a game that instills aggressive thoughts in the minds of its players, some of whom have gone on to commit real-world acts of violence and sexual assault after playing.

I'm talking, of course, about high school football.

Food for thought.

Solid reads and always nice to see things like "video games cause violent kids" shot down cold. ;-D ;-D
