If so you are out of luck, but how about being in the Northern League?
OK, well you are still out of luck. But the Northern League KC T-Bones were thinking about giving a couple lucky MVP 2005 game players a chance to really make a difference!
that's a cool idea. i applaud them for coming up with creative ways to get fans to the ballpark and interested even if some are a bit wacky like this one.
that is definitely a strange way to spark some interests with the local fans,,, they might want to try 50 cents beer night,,, as that is what my local minor league team does on thursday nights......
Yes, a very interesting idea. Shame it got scrapped, but still an interesting idea.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
The KC T-bones are the former Duluth-Superior Dukes (R.I.P.) who were my hometown team.
I didn't really like the idea because it would take away the integrity of the game. There is nothing you can do about those innings and the team losing would start off in the hole. That is pretty unfair I think.

Who does that, Mudcats or Bulls? I never heard about it.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
