Chipper may have a better career, but I'll take Anderson this year, especially in points league. I believe the only advantage Chipper will have over Anderson in your league is walks. Anderson will end up with more hits, especially doubles, and I think he'll hit more homeruns than Chipper will. I don't think that Jones, especially with a nagging wrist, will hit more than he hit last year, 26. Anderson could very well drive in 130 this year, while Jones will barely break 100, like his past two seasons. Neither one steals very often, so that isn't a factor. I don't think runs scored will be a factor either.
Anderson will be a better point scorer this year, and I think Giambi will also outscore Thome. In short, I like the trade.
