What happened to Manny?

Postby The Kavorka » Wed Jul 20, 2005 2:38 pm

He was pulled in the 4th inning. Was it because they were up 7-0 or did he get hurt?

Anybody watching the game?
What are you guys doing?

I'm thinking it was something really important... like he wanted a hot dog really bad.... or he couldn't play without his tunes.

probably because today's game was a day game right after a night game. wouldn't want one of the highest paid players to get hurt.

Probably had to go take a dump and forgot to come back to the field.

Manny probably thought the game was over and he went home.

so true, so true. apparently, he almost missed the first pitch of an inning yesterday hanging out in the area inside the red sox scoreboard.

It's amazing how a guy as 'dumb' as described in this thread has managed to drive in 85 runs, score 60, smack 25 homers, and bat .280...

And I'm no Sox fan. B-)

A person's ability to hit a small white ball very far has nothing to do with intelligence. Hell, you can probably train a gorilla to swing a bat and he might hit 40 HR. ;-)
