I'm thinking it was something really important... like he wanted a hot dog really bad.... or he couldn't play without his tunes.

probably because today's game was a day game right after a night game. wouldn't want one of the highest paid players to get hurt.

so true, so true. apparently, he almost missed the first pitch of an inning yesterday hanging out in the area inside the red sox scoreboard.

A person's ability to hit a small white ball very far has nothing to do with intelligence. Hell, you can probably train a gorilla to swing a bat and he might hit 40 HR.
