I was just looking at some things and saw that Tejada has only 1 HR and 8 RBIs over the last month. He's still hitting for a good average, and it looks like his doubles are up, so are balls that were getting out for the first couple months just going off the wall now?

Is he worth trying to buy low? How frustrated are those of you that own him? Should I try to pry him from his owner with a M. Young/Beltran package or something along those lines? I know he's the top fantasy SS in baseball, I'm just looking for some insight from Oriole fans and those who have followed him more closely.

Hasn't Mora struggled the past month as well? Wouldn't that mean fewer RBI opportunities? I think you give up too much to offer Young & Beltran for him.

Tejada will be fine.

The problem is that with Lopez out, he has no one hitting behind besides Sosa, who is a joke.

I can't imagine that there is a Tejada owner who has any dissatisfaction and would seek to sell low.

Check out how many doubles Tejada hit over that time. He leads MLB in doubles this year with 31. And, his slugging% is still about 50 points higher than he has ever had for a full season. There's obviously nothing wrong with him.

There's nothing wrong with him. The power is gonna come around, and the RBIs are pretty much just bad luck. Nothing to worry about here.

That being said, I just traded him for some needed pitching and steals on my main team. I'm not suggesting you do the same though, my situation was kind of unique.

I don't have him, I have Young at SS and have nothing to complain about. I was just mainly wondering if anyone had insight into why he hasn't done much lately. And to see if his owners are getting frustrated at all. I would think you take the good with the bad with a guy like that, but hey, you never know...
