I've had Harden on my team three straight years, but looks like that run is over. Next year he'll be on everyone's radar. I don't think he's overrated, he's gonna be outstanding. But somebody will reach for him before I'm prepared to.
Same with B.J. Ryan. Unless this recent round of pastings become a habit, he'll be ranked too high for me next year.
On the other hand...Gagne...I might actually have a shot at him for the first time. I don't draft closers in the first few rounds, so as long as he's acknowledge "the best" he won't be on my roster. It's the monsters that are coming off down years that I look for. And the kids that are ready to become monsters.
Chavez?...why wouldn't you draft Chavez? He may not be round 3 material, but he is certainly top 6 round material imo.
Don't draft is too extreme...more like will not draft anywhere near where they are likely to go:
Carlos Beltran (err Eric Byrnes)...15 M a year?
Thome...breaking down
Helton...his roids are not as good as they used to be.
Beltre...did not like him in 05, still don't like him....got his money and is off the roids.
Sexson...overrated
Beckett...enough with the blisters and other lame injuries.
Schmidt...arm worries me.
RJ...too old.
Schilling...2nd biggest bust of the season.
Bonds...Biggest bust of the season...want no part of the Flaxseed Oil Kid.
Ol. Perez...You would have to be nuts to pay anything near value for him.
Guys like Lowell and B. Boone?...they will have next to no value in 06 anyway.
Some of these replies are really wrong. I think people are thinking that if there was another draft now, that they would avoid the people that they listed. Which is wrong.
Secondly, I saw somebody mention Derrek Lee. Wanna explain this one? Derrek has always been a quality first basemen and the first time he's tearing it up people are saying to avoid him next year? I deffinately wouldn't pick him first round, but he's not someone I would avoid under any circumstances.

Time to get in a keeper league. Really feels good to have a hunch on a guy and have him actually pan out. Harden will be on my team for a looooong time.
Kerry "Just Good Enough to Lose" Wood is the Fantasy Pitching Siren, draeing in owners to his deadly shores. Every year people pay round 4-5 prices for a round 10-11 at best SP who NEVER gets a lot of Ws and who usually gets hurt. Somehow, this guy's rep is way higher than his performances and it cotinues to persist.
