looks like a japanese prototype of the snes. (least in the shape.) but im not sure either.

I used that in China(we never had NES or SNES). So I guess this could be it.

And I got most of my game console, game 1 year earlier than you guys do in North American

If that's what you were playing on, you can have it 2 years earlier for all that I care.

Trust me, you don't want to play games in Japanese.

I got my Pokemon Gold 1 year and a half earlier and I still only recognize two word in Japanese(Yes and No).

im just going on the design. the controllers look like the original nes controllers (and they are the only controllers to look like that for the most part) while the system looks similar to the snes in design.


(i believe the nes in japan was originally refered to as famicom if im not mistaken)


edit. (i love google) that system would be the original famicom (aka the NES) type in famicom in google images and thats the baby)

Famicom = Nintendo Entertainment System (8 bit) and Super Famicom = Super Nintendo (16 bit).

Nintendo is based in Japan and used to launch there long before launching here.

Oh and forgot I was one of the goofballs that actually owned the Virtual Boy.
