Atari 2600
Atari 7800 (I remember having Pete Rose Baseball for it )
Nintendo (Who didn't?)
Super Nintendo
Sega Saturn Playstation (The original)
N64 (Goldeneye and Mario Kart )
Sega Dreamcast (I used to love playing NBA 2K1)
Xbox
That sums up my list. I remember playing Intellivision and Colecovision at my friends house. Another friend had an Atari Lynx and TurboGrafx 16. My roommate in college sophomore year had an Atari Jaguar that we'd bust out every now and then.
Oh and I can't forget the old school games on Commodore and Apple. Jumpman Junior, Spy Hunter, Oregon Trail, Carmen Sandiego.
my parents never let me get a real system so i missed out on most of these, although i played them at friend's houses. i'll probably get around to getting one eventually. anyways i owned all the handhelds that i knew of at the time:
original gameboy
gameboy color
gameboy advanced
sega game gear
all the little handheld poker-type games (although those don't count i guess)
i just found an old instruction manual for my baseball sega game gear game. that was the best game for it, it was cool to see the example lineups in there with all guys who are retired now. man the memories in that game. the sega game gear had such a small screen for such a HUGE handheld...
NEO-GEO (i always wanted one, but the system was like $500 and the games $100), it was like Arcade quality back when Super Nintendo was out. It had Baseball Stars and King of Monsters and i forget what else
Phillips 3DO. i never owned one, but i vaguely rememember some commercials and it looked really crappy. about as bad an idea as WEB TV.
im just going on the design. the controllers look like the original nes controllers (and they are the only controllers to look like that for the most part) while the system looks similar to the snes in design.
(i believe the nes in japan was originally refered to as famicom if im not mistaken)
edit. (i love google) that system would be the original famicom (aka the NES) type in famicom in google images and thats the baby)
a much cleaner pic
