I just traded Bedard and Reyes for RJ and Vizquel. I may regret it later but given that it is still relatively unknown whether Bedard can keep this up, I think it was worth it.

If Bedard continues to throw strikes, he will be successful. He also seems to know how to pitch in different situations. He's got a bright future for sure. I still think he'll hit some bumps on the road but overall, should be very valuable provided BJ stops blowing save opps.

He has been lights out all year. I grabbed him as a FA and he got like 4 or 5 good starts in before he went on the DL. My staff has definitely missed him, and it was great to see him come back strong. I can't imagine he'll keep pitching as well as he has, but I sure hope he does! ;-D

no denying that he's been great so far, but whether he can keep it up over a full season is still in the air. and still will be after this season if he starts to fade at the end due to the the time off for injury

He pitched great yesterday. My only problem is that I forgot to activate him from my DL until it was too late. Now I have to wait until his next start to play him. If he would have gotten the W I would be more frustrated with myself.

he's in the AL East and hasn't faced the yankees or redsox once all season. and he's on the orioles so he obviously doesn't face them either. i wouldn't buy into his current #s until he has a couple of good games against teams better than toronto, tampa, and minnesota. the one good team he faced this year is the chicago whitesox, against whom he went 2 ERs in 7 IP. if he has 3 or so games like that against the yankees and sox, then i'd start thinking he's legit.
