Nikes were the shoes of choice when I was a kid. Anything else got you beat up on a regular basis, and if they were Payless shoes, you were really asking to get beaten up.
Oh yeah, we also had the "Blue-Light Special" kids. You know, the parents bought the kid's clothes at K-Mart? Those guys always got beaten up. "Blue-Light Specials".

I remember my dad bought me one of those electronic pets(what was it called) and the clock was soo off that it show 12pm when it's really 12am 2 days after I started a game(with fixed clock). The animal died, I can't wake up in the middle of night to feed it

I hate the Macarena. If I were at a dance and they started playing that song (which they did every single time), I would leave. Sometimes I'd come back after it was over...other times not.
Fantasy sports as a fad? Doubt it. Too many geeks like us need some outlet for our mathematical prowess.
The Flop Hairstyle (John Conner from T2 hair cut) - basically long hair on top that is shaved underneath so it flops around. I could never grow my hair that long so I went with the buzz mostly.

I sure hope to God that Reality TV is a fad.
