Is hafner playing today (Tuesday)?

He did not play last night despite one update that said he would play Monday. If he has a concussion from getting beaned you would think he would have to take a few days off but i dont want to have him on the bench and he comes out and hits two hr's or some shit like that. That has happenend to me numerous times this year yet i am still leading my league

game time decision. If he's dizzy during pre game warmups he won't play. He says he thinks he could go today, but won't know until then.

he's not in the starting lineup. he'll pinch hit if necessary from what i hear. what a f$%king waste...i was really looking forward to him torching the royals pitching.

Whats really got me is that Manny Ramirez got hit in the head twice earlier this year and didn't miss a game because of it. Hafner has been out 2 games and possibly a 3rd.

Is there just that little in Manny's head or does Pronk have a glass jaw?

Seriously though, that was a tough place to get hit right in the cheek like that. I expect Hafner to be back soon, possibly Thursday, Wedge won't rush him back, he'd rather loose than play Pronk to help the team it seems.

Now there are rumors that he'll do a stint on the DL to rest and clear his head because apparently he has recurring dizziness after some physical exertion. Nothing like a beanball to shut down the hottest player in the league...

I highly doubt he'll go on the DL. He has been in uniform everyday since it happened. I think he just needs a few days off. I read that it typically takes 5-7 days to recover from something like this.

I suffered a minor concussion myself a couple weeks ago- backpacking with some friends we got shnockered and decided to wrestle over hard-packed earth... I got planted on my head (I lost)

I was shaken up for several days- I couldn't count change, I couldn't copy a number from the phone book, I couldn't remember names without a lot of effort..... I imagine our boy Haf is probably going through the same thing at the moment
