I would wait a little more on Beltran as well. I would also say listen to the law of averages. If, like me, your team has underperformed, and now you find you are closing the gaps, then keep the team pretty much as is, b/c it's likely that your players are now compensating for their bad starts to get near where their career averages say they should be. The player that differs from his career averages for no reason at all is very rare.

I would, however, try to deal Chris Young while he still has value. His numbers in the minors don't suggest that he should have the kind of success he's had so far this year. Just my opinion, though.

I don't think that there's any such thing as 'compensating for poor starts'. What the law of averages says is that in absence of other factors, your player will return to his average pace of production, not that he's going to make up for being a bum by suddenly hitting everything in sight.

Don't fall for the gambler's fallacy, in other words. A losing streak doesn't mean that a winning streak is right around the corner.

I agree with the above posters, though. You have too much tradeable talent on your bench. Drop guys who you aren't using and can't trade, and trade the guys who have value for upgrades in other areas. These guys like Berkman are perfect 'throw-ins' for a trade that will upgrade you elsewhere.

I would try and consolidate some of your depth on the bench for upgrades at RP. You could use another stud arm like Izzy or Hoffman. Other than that, your team looks solid from top to bottom. I wouldn't make any drastic changes, you team stacks up well.
