I play in a contract keeper league and by mistake, my team is over the cap by a year (we use years instead of $$ for salary cap).

Delmon Young is signed to a nearly maximum contract on my team, so I can trade him for basically any OF. What OF is worth of Delmon? It can also be a player of another position, but getting a stud OF would be my first priority. The Vlad owner laughed at me (Vlad's contract allows him to be on the guy's team for life - it's Miggy Cabrera for me), so that won't work (there was more to the offer, but Delmon-Vlad was the main part).

If I can't get a deal for my team by tonight, I have to drop Lidge

Yeah, I can see that. Luckily, I was able to trade Lidge and some league cap $$ for Chad Cordero. It's a bit of a reach for me, but that's the best deal I could make - it can work out.
