Looking for a 2006 baseball league

Have been in the same league for the past 20 years. There are too many owners who are inactive and unresponsive. I'm looking for a very active league.

Prefer a mixed 5 x 5 with a salary cap, but will entertain all formats. There also may be a possibility of 2 or 3 other players interested with between 5 - 20 years experience in fantasy baseball.

I am hoping to find a group of owners who can get together for a draft in the Chicago area, but could be open to other possibilities if the owners are going to be competitive enough. Something to think about. Personally, I'm not overly concerned about the location. My current league is in NJ and I live in NC. Haven't missed a draft, in person, in the 7 years I've been here in NC.

Awesome. That's some great dedication. I'm living in NC right now also - grad school at UNC Chapel Hill, but made it back to Chicago for my fantasy draft, too. It really does add a lot to the league when you can talk good trash like "maybe Chris Carpenter will help my team again this year" to the guy who had him - well, didn't have him - in the playoffs against my team last season.
